CRM_TEXT_SE75 - Define Text Objects and Text Types

This activity enables you to check the settings made by SAP for text objects and text types.

Caution - These settings are cross-client, that is, changes are effective immediately in all system clients.

Do not delete any of the text objects contained in the standard system. If possible, also maintain their parameter settings.

Check whether all of the required text IDs are available for the application objects that you used.

If required, maintain new text types for existing text objects.

If you want to use HTML text, create a new text type for the text object CRM_ORDERH and/or CRM_ORDERI. You select the text type in Customizing activity Define Text Determination Procedure.

Text types that already exist as SAPscript texts in the database cannot be used for HTML texts. A text type can be based either on SAPscript or on HTML. This has to be decided before the text is generated. You can use Customizing activity Define Text Format to define whether a text type is based on SAPscript or on HTML.
