Implementation Guide (IMG) activity Define Text Objects and Text Types is a basic function of SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM). You should first review the Define Text Objects and Text Types documentation.
In this IMG activity, you define the text types that you want to use in investigations.
Investigations need separate text types, which can be used to create and save text notes that are made during the investigation.
Text types for investigations are created in text object CRM_ORDERI.
In IMG activity Assign Text Types for the Processing Transaction, you assign to each agent group the text type that they use for their text notes. This can be a separate text type for each group, or the same text type for multiple or all groups.
The following text types are standard for investigations:
- MI01 Research
- MI02 Analysis
- MI03 Approval
- MICP Customer (Portal)
- MLOG Text Log Investigations
The three standard text types offer one text type for each of the three possible processing levels. If you need further text types for one or more processing levels, you can create them in the customer namespace and assign them accordingly.
