In order to query availability and reserve material tools, there must be a link to Inventory Management. You make the following settings:

Set Up an RFC Destination

  • Create a user that is authorized to make online entries.
  • Specify the target system by entering an RFC destination.

Set Up an External ATP Availability Check

  • Configure the external ATP availability check in the IMG activity Define Middleware Parameters for Availability Check.
  • Make sure that the following BAdIs are active:
  • Business Add-In for Online Check (implementation name CRM_TOOL_AVAIL)

  • Business Add-In for Update (implementation name CRM_TOOL_RES_POST)
