CRM_TRANS_CUST_FND - Define Basic Settings for Transaction Types

The budget posting objects are business transactions. These require certain specific settings.

To be able to work with budget posting objects, you need to work through the following activities:

Define Transaction Types

Budget postings require specific transaction type settings.

You select a budget posting transaction type, for example, Budget Update (BPUP). Select Assignment of Business Transaction Categories and category Budget Posting. In the Customizing header, there are certain things that need to be set for a budget posting transaction type.

Budget Posting Type: You select the budget posting type.

Expiration Logic: Select this to define if budget expiration logic applies to this budget posting transaction type.

Multi-Stage Approval: Select this to indicate that multi-staged approval is used with this transaction type.

You define approval settings for budget postings in the following IMG activities:

• Define Approver Groups and Threshold

• BAdI: Define Approval Procedure

You define workflow settings for budget postings approval in the following IMG activities:

• Maintain Standard Settings for SAP Business Workflow

• Implement Workflow Assignment for Funds Management
