CRM_TTRLT_COPY - Copy Related Table Entries for Transaction Types

You can use this Customizing activity to copy related table entries from one transaction type to another transaction type. This is useful if you have copied the standard Customizing settings from one transaction type to another in the Customizing activity Define Transaction Types and would also like the related table entries to be copied.

• The source and target transaction type have been created.

• The source and target transaction type have been assigned the same business transaction category.

You assign business transaction categories in the Customizing activity Define Transaction Types.

• The source and target transaction type are both active.

A transaction type can be set to Inactivein the Customizing activity Define Transaction Types.

• If necessary, you have defined the tables to be used when copying in the Customizing activity Define Tables for Transaction Type Copy.

1. Select a source transaction type and a target transaction type, and choose Related Table Selection.

A consistency check is performed and any errors are displayed. If no errors are found, a list of the tables that can be used to copy data is displayed.

1. Select the tables for which you want entries to be copied.

A table can be selected if the following conditions are met:

• The table must contain at least one entry for the source transaction type and at least one key field that represents a transation type.

• The table must not already contain any entries for the target transaction type.

• If a table contains a key attribute that is an item category, the entries in this table can only be copied if all the item categories of the source transaction type will be copied. The CRMC_IT_ASSIGN table must therefore be selected.

1. If you want to perform a preliminary check to see whether the selected entries can be copied, choose Simulate Copying.
2. To check for table entries that contain the source transaction type in at least one field but not in a key field, choose Additional Checks.

These table entries cannot be copied automatically because duplicate entries would be created. You must decide whether to copy or change these entries manually.

1. Choose Copy and Save.
