CRM_UBB_ACCR_VOL_EST - BAdI: Determine Accrued Usage Volumes

You can use this BAdI to estimate a usage volume for prebilling, which is used for accrual in the Lease Accounting Engine (LAE). The system uses the estimated usage volume to estimate a usage value for accrual. If you do not implement this BAdI, you cannot calculate accruals on a usage value basis.

The BAdI uses the usage function group as a filter value. Either create a usage function group before the BAdI implementation or use the provided group.

A model implementation can be seen in function module CRM_UBB_PREBILL_VOL_EST_EXAMPL. This module determines the usage volumes based on the planned value of the counters of the object used in the contract. The following time units are supported: day, week, month and year. The function module has the same interface as the BAdI and can be easily inserted into your own implementations.

If you want to implement your own estimation function, we recommend doing so in separate function modules and only calling this module in the BAdI. Because the BAdI implementation is based on the usage function group, you only have to call the function module in the BAdI implementations when you want to use the same estimation procedure.
