In this process, you can define usage indicators. The usage defines the conditions in which a material is sold. It can be entered in the sales transaction at header or item level. Entries at header level apply for all items.
A product with different usages can be sold to the same customer in separate items or sales orders.
A product can, for example, be:
- a replacement part
- a sample
- used for serial production
