You can define service types in this process step. Service types represent the basis for pricing and are used to differentiate a general product master for a service with regard to price. You can do this using an absolute or percentage markup/discount.

Working time at the weekend is marked up by 20% and working time on a public holiday by 50%. You can therefore specify a basic price of EUR 100 for the repair time for a washing machine and use markups to define that the service costs EUR 120 on the weekend and EUR 150 on a public holiday.

The following two prerequisites must be fulfilled to ensure that pricing works:

  • The service type must be entered in the corresponding transaction item.
  • A condition that takes the service types into account must be available.

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter a key and a description for each service type.

Time postings must be assigned to CAT2. If you want to determine different attendance and absence types depending on the service type, you must specify the service types.
