You make the settings described below to define a URL to that enables the Web Channel Content Management Application to access marketing content for display within the Web shop. The URL is launched from the marketing campaign when you click the Web Content button in the Web Channel Builder, in the Web Channel Content Management assignment block

  1. Access transaction SM59 (Connection of RFC Connections), and check whether RFC connection COMWECWCMALAUNCH exists. If not, proceed with the following steps.
  2. Open the folder HTTP Connections to External Server (type G) and choose Create.
  3. Make the following entries:
  • RFC Destination: COMWECWCMALAUNCH

  • Connection Type: G

  1. Under Technical Settings, make the following entries:
Target Host:
Service No.: 50000
Path Prefix: /main/wcb:wcmMainPage@master.jsf?wec-appid=wcbuilder&wec-locale=##
  1. Save your entries.
