CVPEOP_SYSTEC - Make Technical System Settings

Assign logical systems.

In this configuration step, you assign logical systems to the EoP check systems you defined in configuration step Define Systems in order to make them clearly identifiable in the system landscape.

Note: Since these settings are different for development, quality and production systems, they cannot be transported and must therefore be separately maintained in each system.

• You have defined systems for customer/ supplier master data blocking/ unblocking in configuration step Define Systems.

• You have identified the logical system name of each system you want to enable for the advanced EoP check.

In an S/4HANA Cloud landscape, systems are assigned randomly generated system names. To find out the name of the system you’re currently working in, you can go to configuration step Make Technical System Settingsand choose Identify Current Systemfrom the toolbar.

You must repeat this process for each system that you want to enable for the advanced C/S EoP check.

To make the necessary settings for a system, follow below steps:

1. Choose New Entries from the application toolbar.
2. In the System column, enter the name of the system you registered in configuration step Define Systems. The system description will automatically be filled.
3. In the Logical Systemcolumn, call up the value help (F4) and choose a logical system name that you want to assign to the system.
