This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the ERP Customer master data processes (LO-MD-BP-DP) component.

It is called during End of Purpose check of ERP_CUST or ERP_VEND registered End of Purpose Application.

During this process, ERP_CUST or ERP_VEND have to determine the last change date of a customer or supplier master data based on the stored change documents

The BAdI permits to handle custom based change document.

This Business Add-In is multiple use. All active implementations are called and executed.

There are 3 different methods:

  • TABLE_RELEVANCE: For change document object class KRED or DEBI, custom tables may store their own change documents. For such custom tables which are related to an organizational level, for example company code, this method permits to determine the change documents as per the correct organizational level. This is the purpose of this method with the changing parameter CT_CHDOC_TABLE_RELEVANCE.
  • CHG_DOC_IS_RELEVANT: This method permits to inform the process about the fact a given change document record is relevant to be considered.
  • OWN_CHANGE_DOC_DATES: This method permits to change the determined creation date and last change date of a given customer or supplier master data.
