CVP_HREOPRFCDES - Define RFC Connection for Checking the End of Purpose in foreign HR Systems

Use

In this Customizing activity, you register the RFC connection that is needed for the end of purpose check of customer/vendor master data in other systems. The entries in the Customizing view are required for the posting transfer of payroll results to Financial Accounting (application ERP_HCM_POST).

The RFC connection must point to the legacy system in which you create and process your employee data. The EoP check checks whether payroll results for transfer are still expected from the legacy system.

You only have to enter the RFC connection in this Customizing view if your application runs in a distributed landscape. This step is not necessary in an integrated system.

As the EoP check method for customer/vendor master data is called on company code level, you enter the RFC connection for each company code in the Customizing activity.

Prerequisites

You need to have entered the RFC connection with the application Configuration of RFC Connections (transaction SM59)
