In this IMG activity you can check the consistency of an action profile. Furthermore, you can check the details for chained actions and edit the action profile if, due to the result of the consistency check, changes are necessary.

Different inconsistencies can occur when you set up the action profile, for example:

- Inconsistencies in the processing status: an action with an initial processing status for which no action with an identical target processing status exists

- Inconsistencies in chained actions:

,,>,,Chained actions for which the part action in the profile does not exist

,,>,,Chained action with inconsistencies in the processing status

- Inconsistencies in the function code: the function code link for the action has not been maintained

The consistency check outputs a message log. After this, you can make changes to the action profile in the transaction. The check is performed again and again until all inconsistencies have been eliminated.

Select the action profile that you want to be checked and performed (F8). The system displays the action profile in a table in which the initial processing status is displayed in the rows and the target processing status in the columns. The action is in the field in which row and column meet. Chained actions are displayed as elementary actions in a different color. If you call a chained action by double-clicking on it, the system displays the part action in a dialog box.

In the case of consistent chained actions, the initial and target processes are displayed next to the action type for each part action. If the part actions are inconsistent, the initial and target stati are not displayed. This means that the part action should be checked again, If you perform a consistency check, this is also displayed.

In the application toolbar, choose Check Consistency of Action Profile (F5). In the message log (Shift+F1), check whether the system has output messages.

If you want to change the action profile, choose

Change Action Profile (F6). A dialog box Field Selection appears. Select the appropriate filter criterion. A further dialog box for defining the work area appears. Enter values for "from" and "to", for example, from AP01to B001. Choose Copy.

Change the action profile, if required, and choose Save.

Choose Back (F3), to return to the action profile and choose Update Action profile (F2), to update the action profile.

Repeat the consistency check. If there are still errors, repeat this process.
