CWTY_SUBSTITUTION - Define Substitutions

In this activity you define the substitutions for the check routines in Warranty Processing.

A substitution consists of at least one step. Each step is made up of the two components prerequisite and substitution. If a prerequisite is met then substitution is carried out.

Note: if you want the system to output messages for substitutions as well as for validations then you must first create a validation for the corresponding substitution with the same prerequisite and (for this prerequisite) the inverse check. In the case of substitution (that is, when a prerequisite is met) the validation encounters an error and a message is displayed.

No substitutions are delivered in the SAP standard system.
