DAAG_DATAAGOBJ - Activate or Deactivate Data Aging Objects

Before you can apply data aging to your data, you need to activate the data aging object provided by the SAP application. After the data aging object has been activated, you can use it in a data aging run. For activation, the following conditions must be fulfilled:

  • The data aging object contains all of the tables intended for data aging (defined and delivered by the SAP application).
  • Tables must be assigned to a partitioning object (delivered by the SAP application).
  • The data aging object is consistent.
  • Enhancement spots are defined for data aging objects (delivered by the SAP application). However, entering enhancement spots is optional.

Perform the following steps to activate the data aging object:

  1. Select transaction DAGADM_IMG.
  2. Select the data aging object that you want to activate.
  3. Choose Activate.

If necessary, you can deactivate the data aging object.
