DAAG_SET_DAGOBJ - Settings for Data Aging Object

You use this activity to make settings for the data aging object. You make Customizing settings for:

  • Parallel Processing (Parallelization for aging runs is supported for data aging runs and for undo runs)
  • Sequential Processing

Perform the following steps to make Customizing settings (Parallel Processing) for the data aging object for the aging run and undo run:

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter Name of the Data Aging Object.
  3. Enter Logon/Server Group.
  4. Enter Package Size.
  5. Enter Maximum Number of Tasks.
Note: The package size and the maximum number of tasks for the aging run and undo run are same by default. The package size and maximum number of tasks for Undo are filled only if the interface IF_DAAG_UNDO_RUNTIMEis implemented in the application class of the data aging object.
You can assign different value to the undo run by checking the checkbox Change Settings.
  1. Enter the maximum no. of days for the undo aging run.
Note: Indicates the maximum number of days within which an undo job for the aging run can be scheduled for a data aging object. The difference between the date the data aging object was last aged and the target date for undo should be less than the value entered in this field. This field can have a maximum value of 180 days.
  1. Choose Save.

Perform the following steps to make Customizing settings (Sequential Processing) for the data aging object for the aging run and for undo run:

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter Name of Data Aging Object.
  3. Enter Package Size.
  4. Note: The package size for the aging run and undo run are same by default. You can assign different value to the undo run by checking the checkbox Change Settings.
  5. Enter the Maximum No. of Days for the undo run.
  6. Choose Save.
