DB_IMG_INTRO3 - Append Search Helps

You can use append search helps to add extra search paths (elementary search helps) to collective search helps without modification. SAP uses append search helps to provide more efficient searches for databases that are also easier for the user.

We offer technical documentation for each SAP-HANA-specific append search help in the SAP Implementation Guide for Database-Specific Optimizations (transaction SPRO_DB). This documentation comprises information about the business background, the technical integration (for example, the corresponding collective search help), and which data is analyzed.
