DEFINE_COMM_STATUS - Define Communication Status

In this IMG activity you define the communication status for a payoff.

When you define the communication status you have to specify in each case whether the business operation to which you want to assign the communication status is a payoff quote or a payoff.

You can also specify whether or not this business operation can be changed.

The following settings are displayed as standard for payoff quotes and payoffs in the Payoff for Installment Loan function in the Workplace for Business Operations.

• Payoff Quote

Payoff quotes that have not been communicated to the borrower can still be changed.

As soon as the borrower has been informed of the result of the payoff quote, the corresponding communication status locks the business operation for further changes.

• Payoff

Payoffs are always communicated to the borrower.

You use the communication status to determine whether changes made to payoffs are permitted or locked.
