DFS_FLGHTPLNAREA - Adjust Terminology for the "Flight Plan"

In this customizing activity, you define new terminology for areas according to your business requirements. You can adjust the flight-specific terminology on the flight plan screens to make the application more generic. This may make the application more suitable also for land or sea-based equipment.

The icons displayed can also be adjusted accordingly.

The different locations for which the terminology can be defined and where the changes will have an impact are known as areas.

Note: Since flight plan mainly consists a list for orders of any order type, you cannot define the terminology for column titles for specific order types. Instead, you can use generic terms as the field names, which can easily be used for land, air and sea equipment.

The areas for which text modification is supported are shown below:

  • You must define the area that needs to be modified.
  • You can give supporting texts as per your needs.

In the case of an area such as “Application Toolbar - Other Flight”, if you want to make the title and icon of this application toolbar’s button generic for any order, you can make the following adjustment as shown below:
