DFS_LMPNCONF - General Settings for Long Manufacturer Part Number

In this Customizing activity, you define the general settings for the long manufacturer part number.

When this indicator is set, the long manufacturer part number field in the Manage Product Master Data application is enabled for input and the manufacturer part number field is set to read-only. Part of the long manufacturer part number is populated in the manufacturer part number field based on the Offsetting Length 1 field defined for the MPN:NCAGE Managed display output in the Customizing activity Format Rules for Material Number Output.

Before you can set the indicator for the long manufacturer part number, you must maintain the entry for the MPN:NCAGE Managed display output in the Customizing activity Format Rules for Material Number Output.
