DIMSP_REVI_TYPE - Maintain Revision Type

In this IMG activity, you determine the revision type and number range to be used for every planning plant for the inbound transfer of data from the Maintenance and Service Planning (SCM-APO-MSP) component in SAP SCM from release 701.

This activity allows you to define the revision type and number range for planning plants based on parameters such as Plant, Object Type, Equipment/Functional Location Category, Main Work Center, Plant Associated to Main Work Center, Number Range, and Revision Type.

A separate revision type must be maintained for independent slots, with no values entered for Object Typeand Equipment/Functional Location Category.

This IMG activity can be used only when the ERP_MSP_EPS switch has been activated. When you activate this switch, the IMG activity Maintain Revision Type and Number Range for Inbound Data Transfer becomes obsolete.

1. Execute the activity.
2. Choose New Entries.
3. Enter values for Plant, Object Type, Equipment/Functional Location Category, Main Work Center, Plant Associated to Main Work Center, Number Range,and Revision Type.
4. Save your entries.
