This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Logistics Basic Data (LO-MD)component in the area Logistics Merchandise Lifecycle Optimization. You can use this BAdI to transfer the content of fields you have added to the ERP structures for site data, site description and site addresses into the generic BAPI transfer structure BAPIPAREX (reference structure for BAPI parameter ExtensionIn/ExtensionOut). In addition, you can specify a site hierarchy assignment.

This BAdI is called before site data is transferred via remote function call (RFC) to the target system.

This BAdI contains method MAP_EXTENSION with the following parameters:

  • IS_RUNTIME_PARAMETER: DRF External Runtime Parameter
This parameter contains the current runtime parameters for the framework which controls the data replication.
  • IT_LOCATION: Data Interface Site Data
  • IT_LOCATION_TXT: External Site Description
  • IT_LOCATION_ADDR: External View on Site Address
  • ET_EXTENSIONIN: Table with BAPIPAREX as Row Type
This table contains the reference structure for the standardized BAPI extension parameters ExtensionIn and ExtensionOut.
