DM_SRMREGEDIT_03 - Create Element Type for Case Record

In this IMG activity you define one or more element types for case records.
You have already maintained at least one RMS in the IMG activity Create RMS. You have also created one or more records models in the IMG activity Create/Change Case Records Model.
The standard delivery contains the following element type:
- UDM_SPS_CASE_RECORD, if you use Accounts Receivable Accounting (FI-AR)
- UDM_FICA_SPS_CASE_RECORD, if you use Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA)
Do not use this element type; create your own element type for case records. The element types delivered are merely examples. SAP reserves the right to make non-compatible changes to the element type specified.
When you create your own element types for case records, you can use the element types delivered as copy template.
- Choose S_AREA_CMG.
- Under the node SCMG_SP_CASE_RECORD choose the following nodes:
- - UDM_SPS_CASE_RECORD, if you use Accounts Receivable Accounting (FI-AR)
- - UDM_FICA_SPS_CASE_RECORD, if you use Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA)
- From the context menu, choose the function Copy and assign the name and description. On the tab page Classification, change the following parameters:
- RMS_ID: Enter the RMS ID defined in the IMG activity Create RMS ID. If you have defined more than one RMS, you can enter more than one RMS ID. However, you can also create different element types for the different RMS.
- LOG_KEEP_DAYS (optional): Retention period for the log
- LOG_LEVEL (optional): Level of detail for the log
- MODEL_ID. Enter one or more records models that you want to use in these case records. Use the input help.
