DPR_DMS - BAdI: Determine Explosion Mode for 'SAP DMS' Tab

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Project Management (PPM-PRO) component.

You use the BAdI DPR_DMS to

• Disable the multilevel explosion of the document structure via method DETERMINE_EXPLOSION_MODE. With this, the immediate multilevel explosion is not done when you are displaying the document structure of a document info record on the SAP DMS tab. This means that the initial retrieval covers only the documents and folders up to the second level of the overall document structure; this improves the performance when opening a document structure. On any subsequent structure, a delta load is executed in the document management system (DMS) to provide the elements of the next levels.

• Disable the creation Document Info Records for Snapshots via method CREATE_DMS_LINKS_FOR_SNAPSHOTS. In this case, implementation of the method returns the value ABAP_FALSE via parameter CV_FLAG.

You have activated the DMS integration in Customizing for Project Managementunder Documents.

• SAP Note 1423024 or a corresponding support package is implemented in the DMS system.

• SAP Note 2809588 is implemented in PPM system.
