This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Project Management (PPM-PRO) application component. You use this BAdI to suppress or restrict sending e-mails from workflows that are based on the following business objects in SAP Portfolio and Project Management:

  • BUS2172 - Project definition
  • BUS2173 - Phase in the operational project
  • BUS2174 - Checklist item in the operational project
  • BUS2175 - Task in the operational project

By implementing the method IS_ALLOWED, you can, for example, suppress the creation of e-mails for specific object types such as checklist items or tasks.

By implementing the method MODIFY_USER_LIST, you can, for example, add or remove specific users from the recipients list of e-mails.

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enh. Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

For information about the implementation of BAdIs in the context of the Enhancement Concept, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BAdIs - Embedding in the Enhancement Framework.

There is no example implementation available in the BAdI Builder. For an example of how you can implement this BAdI, see the attachment to SAP Note 2637770.

This BAdI uses the interface IF_EX_DPR_WORKFLOW. For more information, display the interface in the Class Builder.
