DRCT_ASSGN_IC - BAdI: Direct Assignment for Inspection Characteristic

You implement this Business Add-In (BAdI) if you want to create a new inspection characteristic using data from the PiP source file or if you want to directly assign preselected source data to an already existing inspection characteristic.

This BAdI contains the following method:

• DIRECT_ASSIGNMENT_IC

You use this method to create a mapping between the source item values and the target inspection characteristic fields.

This BAdI is only relevant if you work with the production integration portal.

In the standard system, there is no default implementation of this BAdI.

The BAdI is designed for single use.

Create your own BAdI implementation:

1. Use transaction SE18 to launch the BAdI builder.
2. Enter the enhancement spot ES_MPE_STA_DRCT_ASSGMT and click Change.
3. Right-click the implementation EX_MPE_STA_DRCT_ASSGN_IC and selectCreate BADI Implementation.
