DTINF_SYSTEM_STATE - Maintain System Status

In this Customizing activity, you can specify the status of the current system within the Information Retrieval Framework. Depending on the status you choose, a different range of functionalities for this system is available (see below).

To use this IMG activity, the following prerequisites must be fulfilled:

• You have activated the business function Information Retrieval Framework (CA_DTINF_FW).

In the System Statusdropdown list, choose one of the following options:

• Allow Usage as Remote System

By selecting this option, you enable the system to be used with the IRF. Personal data will be searched for and collected in this system. However, the framework's functionalities are restricted to the system and client you are currently working in.

• Disallow Usage

This is the default status. Even if the business function is activated, the IRF cannot be used in this system and client.
