Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Inspection Checklist (PM-WOC-CL) component.

You can use this BAdI to control the settings made for the configuration of checklists in Customizing activity Configure Checklists for Maintenance Order Types and Planning Plants at runtime. You can find this activity in Customizing for Plant Maintenance and Service Ordersunder Maintenance and Service Processing > Maintenance and Service Orders > Functions and Settings for Order Types.

With this BAdI, you can do the following:

  • Change the Customizing settings for the configuration of inspection checklists for combinations of maintenance order types and planning plants
  • Change or set Customizing settings according to additional order attributes, for example main work center or activity type of the order
  • Exclude an order from the checklist process (raise exception NOT_RELEVANT)

Customizing settings are checked and used for all inspection checklist functions such as object list generation, inspection lot generation, and the display of the checklist screen in maintenance orders.
BAdI implementations are called during all inspection checklist functions (including simulations) that are executed in dialog mode or in the background, for example when changing a maintenance order with a BAPI.

Requirements

  • You have activated the Business Function LOG_EAM_CHECKLIST.
  • You have activated the switch EAM_SFWS_CHECKLIST.

Standard settings

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).
