EAM_CL_CU_OTPL_V - Configure Checklists for Maintenance Order Types and Planning Plants

Use

In this Customizing activity, you can configure inspection checklists for combinations of maintenance order types and planning plants. With this functionality in place, you can carry out quality inspections for technical objects in the object list at operation level in maintenance orders on the basis of inspection lots.

Here, you can determine inspection types and control technical settings such as the automatic object list generation, the automatic checklist generation and the usage decision at technical completion of an order as well as set parameters for document creation and notification creation for your checklists. Detailed field help is available for each of these options when creating new entries in this Customizing activity.

Making settings in this Customizing activity will result in the following changes in maintenance orders:

• On the Objectstab, the generated object list along with information about the objects' origins (automatically generated, manually included, from maintenance plan e.g.) is shown. You have the option to regenerate the object list manually and also display the generation log.

• The new tab Checklistsis available, where the generated checklists can be found.

• In the operation list, the new column Checklist Typeis displayed that contains information about the type of the checklist. You can define your own checklist types using transaction IW99.

Requirements

• You have maintained the inspection types using the Customizing activity Maintain Inspection Types in Customizing for Quality Managementunder Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot Creation.
  Make sure to configure inspection lot origin 89 (Miscellaneous inspection) for the inspection types you plan to use using Customizing activity Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types in the same Customizing node.

• (Optional🙂 To print your checklists, you must set the document creation parameters and customize a shop paper using the Customizing activity Define Shop Papers, Forms and Output Programs in Customizing for Plant Maintenance and Customer Serviceunder Maintenance and Service Processing > Maintenance and Service Orders > Print Control.
