Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Inspection Checklist (PM-WOC-CL) component.

You can use this BAdI to control the creation process of new checklists.
With this BAdI, you can do the following:

  • Set material numbers for inspection lot creation
  • Change the data of an inspection lot before creating a new inspection lot using function group QPL1
  • Change messages and error handling after creating a new inspection lot using function group QPL1
  • Adding custom data before creating or changing a checklist in table EAM_CLOBJ

The BAdI methods associated with this BAdI are called during all functions that generate checklists after an inspection plan has been found and Quality Management (QM) inspection lots are to be created from an inspection plan, such as the following:

  • Manual execution in maintenance order transaction IW32
  • Automatic processing in background at order release or custom-defined event
  • Mass processing in transaction IW92
  • In simulation transaction IW97
  • In API function module EAM_CL_API_GENERATE_LOT

Requirements

  • You have activated the Business Function LOG_EAM_CHECKLIST.
  • You have activated the switch EAM_SFWS_CHECKLIST.
