EAM_CL_LOT_GENERATIO - BAdI: Control of Inspection Lot Generation for Maintenance Orders

Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Inspection Checklist (PM-WOC-CL) component.

You can use this BAdI to control the generation process of checklists (inspection lots), and the search and use of inspection plans in particular.

With this BAdI, you can do the following:

• Change the reference data for inspection plan searches

• Change the program logic for inspection plan searches

• Check the relevance of an inspection plan for the creation of a checklist, for example by checking the status of an inspection plan

• Allow the search for more than one inspection plan that correspond to the checklist type and the technical object attributes

• Allow multiple usages of the same inspection plan for the maintenance operation and technical object, for example if you also use notifications in the object list

The BAdI methods associated with this BAdI are called during all functions that generate checklists, such as the following:

• Manual execution in maintenance order transaction IW32

• Automatic processing in background at order release or custom-defined event

• Mass processing in transaction IW92

• In simulation transaction IW97

• In API function module EAM_CL_API_GENERATE_LOT

Requirements

• You have activated the Business Function LOG_EAM_CHECKLIST.

• You have activated the switch EAM_SFWS_CHECKLIST.

Standard settings
