EAM_V_MJP_BLD_NR - Assign Number Range Groups to Work Pack Types

In this work step, you assign number range groups to work pack types. Each number range group corresponds to a specific number range and is intended for internal or external number assignment. Internal number assignment means that the system automatically assigns a work pack number to the work pack when you create it. If you want to assign your own numbers to work packs, you must assign a number range group that allows external number assignment.

You assign the work pack types SWP1 (Reactive Maintenance) and SWP2 (Preventive Maintenance) to the number range group 1. When you create work packs with type SWP1 or SWP2, the system automatically assigns a number within the number interval from 000010000000 to 000099999999.
