In this Customizing activity, you define the attributes that are extracted from payloads in Error and Conflict Handler. In addition, you use the assignment of DDIC objects to control the properties of the fields related to the extracted values.

For example, you can use the attributes to select postprocessing orders.

  1. Enter an attribute and a description (optional).
  2. Assign a structure and a field to the attribute.
Once you have selected the attribute in Error and Conflict Handler, the system automatically transfers the properties of the related value fields of the field you have specified here, for example, the format and the relevant field help and input help.
  1. In the Class/Interface field, you can specify a callback implementation that converts the internal mapping to external mapping or that starts the field help for the attribute. If you do not make an entry, the standard callback implementation is used. This is sufficient in most cases. For more information, see the documentation for the IF_ECH_PLA_ATTRIBUTE interface.

In the Customizing activity Assign Payload Attributes to Extraction Paths, you then need to specify the extraction paths for the defined attributes.
