This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the integration add-on for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central when replicating data from Employee Central to the ERP system with the Business Integration Builder (BIB) enabled.

You can use this BAdI to set the full transmission start date (FTSD) for an assignment (a personnel number). The assignment-specific FTSD is stored in the PERNR-Specific Full Transmission Start Date (PAOCFEC_PN_FTSD) table. The BAdI implementation should change the full transmission date for assignment only if it can be moved to the future.

The BAdI provides the SET_ASSIGNMENT_FTSD method with the following parameters:

  • Importing parameters
  • MOLGA: Country Grouping

  • PERNR: Personnel Number

  • EC_PAYLOAD: Interface that can be used to retrieve the Employee Central data. You can call the method GET_EC_PAYLOAD of this interface to retrieve the relevant data for an Employee Central Entity.

  • MESSAGE_HANDLER_REF: Interface that can be used to pass a message to the framework. To do so, you can call the ADD_MESSAGE method of the interface. If an error message is passed (parameter MESSAGE-MSGTY = E), the processing for this personnel number will be stopped and the error will be provided in the logs.

  • Exporting parameter
  • ASSIGNMENT_FTSD: Full Transmission Start Date for Assignment

Multiple BAdI implementations can be active. They can be called in an arbitrary sequence during runtime.
