ECPAO_CEAPI_EX - Define Exceptions for Compound Employee API query

In this customizing activity, you can define the exceptions for the compound employee API query. The Compound Employee API query sent to Employee Central for the selection of employees is generated from the CE API segment names of the EC entities activated in the template group used. In some cases, the CE API segment name differs from the supported CE API sub structure name which causes the query sent to Employee Central to fail and hence no employee data will be sent to Employee Central. This feature enables you to maintain exceptions for such cases so that the supported CE API structure names can be sent for the entities that are failing.

1. Choose the EC entity for which the exception is to be maintained.
2. Enter the CE API structure name.

This activity will be required for custom EC entities that are created for custom MDF objects configured in Employee Central which have a parent-child relationship. For the child EC entity, maintain an exception using this feature with the CE API segment name of the parent EC entity in the field for CE API Segment.
