In this Customizing activity, you can configure the additional event types on or before the cut off date.

You must enable the switch "Migration to EC - Additional Event Records" in the V_ECPAO_CONSTANT view. Through this we can initiate the process for additional event records.

You defined the configuration settings for the additional events before the cut off date.

  1. To enable the process, set the value "X" for "Migration to EC - Additional Event Records" in the V_ECPAO_CONSTANT view.
  2. To maintain the action type details, enter the details in the V_ECPAO_PLHD_ACT view.
  • Choose a Transformation Template Group, for which you want to add an additional event types.

  • Enter the country for which you want to maintain the action types. If you do not provide any country, then the action types would be applicable for all the available countries for which the configuration is not maintained in this view.

  • Choose an Action type. The Action type field cannot be kept blank.

  • Choose the Reason for Action. If any specify reason for action is need to considered, then you can maintain that particular.reason for the action along with the action type as an entry. Blank entries are allowed for the reason for action where it consider all the combination of the action type to process. "*" not allowed.

  • Enter an Event Reason. (Mandatory field). Here you will have to enter the EC event reason for the combination of action type and reason for action.

  • Disable Cut off Split option is available only for the action type's employment status is not active. For ex: Termination, Retirement, Leave of Absence. If the Disable cut off split option is selected, then during the additional event migration process, the cut off split for the above mentioned actions will not be considered. Instead a single record for that particular event reason is created with the exact start date and end date mentioned in ERP.

  • Choose the Termination Start Date. Here you can enter a start date from which the migration report will consider a terminated employee after the mentioned termination start date. System will compare the termination action start date along with the configured termination start date and process the employee data.
