ECPAO_V_ECPAO_PACKSI - Define Packet Size to be used for the ERP to EC Data Migration

In this Customizing activity you can configure the packet size for an EC instance template in the V_ECPAO_PACKSIZE view. The configured data is stored in table ECPAO_PACKSIZE.

The Employee Extraction Report (ECPAO_EMPL_EXTRACTION) use this table data while creating the packets on the extracted data from the ERP system. By setting the packet size, you can now avoid the time out errors while using complex API's like payment information, or a simple user API's, biography API's etc.

Note

You can set the packet size only when you are using web service mode while replicating the data from ERP to EC.

Make the following settings for each EC Instance template that you add:

1. Select your EC Instance ID
2. Select the template
3. Enter the packet size

Note

Packet size should be in-between 20 and 100.
