This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Engineering Desktop (PLM-WUI-EDK) component.

You can use this BAdI to communicate from a CAD system to Engineering Desktop. That is, with this BAdI, data files are transferred from an external CAD system back to Engineering Desktop.
