In this activity you connect an object type to a Web service that was created in the previous Customizing activity
The object type EDESK_IPPE is supplied and connected to the standard services EDESK_PDN2 and EDESK_PDN3 in the standard system.
To create a new object type, proceed as follows:
- Choose the Object Type for Object Links view and then New Entries.
- Enter the name and description of the object type, specify the Web server alias and the identification structure, and activate the object type.
- Select the new entry and choose the Service for Object Type view.
- Enter the services for the object type and activate them.
- Example of object type for object links:
