EDOC_ADAPTOR_CLOUD - BAdI: Enhancements for the Processing of eDocuments

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Document Compliance Framework(CA-GTF-CSC-EDO) component. You can use this BAdI to make enhancements to the processing of electronic documents. By implementing this BAdI, you can define, for example, that for some types of source documents the system should not create electronic documents.
Additionally, if you are creating electronic documents using Application Interface Framework (AIF), you can use this BAdI to enhance the standard XML mapping that generates electronic documents to edit standard fields or add new ones.
For a country/region, you can have different BAdI implementations. This is the case if you want to create electronic documents from different use cases as the standard ones. For example, if you want you create electronic documents out of source documents from industry solutions that are not covered in the standard development. For that, you can use the Generic filter attribute for selection of specific BAdI implementation (GENERIC_FILTER) to determine which BAdI implementation to use for the creation of eDocument instances.
