EDOC_CL_NRXML - Create/Delete Number Ranges

In this Customizing activity, you can either create or delete number range for a given DTE type. For the creation of number ranges, you upload the CAF XML file (in Spanish, Código de Autorización de Folios) provided by the Chilean tax authority, SII (Servicio de Impuestos Internos). This file contains the necessary information for the automatic creation of the number ranges for each DTE type.

To be able to execute the report, ensure that you have been assigned to the EDO_CL_NR authorization object.

You can execute the report to perform the following actions:

Create number ranges by uploading the XML file

Select XML File to Uploadand enter the company code, a number range number, and the file path from where you want to upload the number range XML file.

When you execute the report, the system creates the number range for the DTE type with the specified number range number. The system stores the number range XML provided in the CAF file in the EDOCLNRXMLtable.

The report retrieves from the CAF file the private key and generates a .keyfile in the same folder where the CAF file has been uploaded to. The private key is saved as a string can be imported as a private key pair combination into the key store library of HCI tenant.

Delete

Select Deleteand enter the company code, DTE type, and the number range number.

When you execute, the report deletes the number range for the entered DTE type. The system deletes the number range XML from the EDOCLNRXML table.

Multiple CAF files may exist for one DTE type. Therefore the .key files are generated according to the following naming convention:

RE + TD + D + H + FA].key, where

RE = Issuer Tax's ID

TD = DTE Type

D = First number in the number range

H = Last number of the number range

FA = Number range issue date
