EDOC_CUSTOM_FIELDS - BAdI: Enable Custom Fields for eDocument

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Cross-Application Components component. You can use this BAdI to extend the eDocument Cockpit (EDOC_COCKPIT) with custom fields, as follows:
- You can extend the EDOCUMENT table with custom fields.
- At a process level, you can also extend the country/region-specific tables with custom fields. Note that the added fields for a specific process are only visible when the specific process has been selected.
Note:
When you enhance the eDocument tables with custom fields, these custom fields only get filled if the BAdI is implemented and a process action is executed; custom fields are not filled for UI actions (for more details about process action and UI action, see the action type in the EDOACTION table). Otherwise, the custom fields will display empty in the eDocument Cockpit(EDOC_COCKPIT).

Choose a release and then Application Help. In SAP Library, choose SAP Netweaver Library: Function-Oriented View -> Application Server -> Application Server ABAP -> Application Development on AS ABAP -> ABAP Customer Development -> Enhancement Framework.
