This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the eDocument Mexico (CA-GTF-CSC-EDO-MX) component. You use this BAdI to fill the Transportation (Spanish: Carta Porte) complement in invoice or delivery note XML files. This complement contains information about transportation of goods and is required in the following business scenarios:

  • Your company owns and transports goods. In this scenario, you include the Transportation complement in the electronic delivery notes that you issue to receivers.
  • Your company provides transportation services. In this scenario, you include the Transportation complement in the electronic invoices that you issue to your customers.

There's no predelivered XML mapping for the Transportation complement. You must implement the entire mapping of the complement fields through this BAdI. The system calls the BAdI when you display or submit an eDocument in the Mexico eInvoice or Mexico eDelivery Note process in the eDocument Cockpit.

is_source: Contains information about the source document. It has the following fields:

  • companycode: Contains the company code.
  • billingdocumentnum: Contains the billing document number (if the source document is a billing document).
  • accountingdocumentnum: Contains the accounting document number (if the source document is an accounting document).
  • deliverydocumentnum: Contains the delivery document number (if the source document is a delivery document).
  • fiscalyear: Contains the fiscal year.
  • edoctype: Contains the eDocument type.

CS_CARTA_PORTE: Contains details about the Transportation complement in the XML file. To include a field into this complement, you must fill the corresponding field in this changing parameter.
