Register factory classes to generate additional eDocument instances.

The eDocument Framework has been extended to enable the processing of eDocuments in several different business scenarios for one country/region. This is the case if you want to use the eDocument Framework to process eDocuments created in industries solutions or any other applications than the ones foreseen by the standard solution.

You can register (factory) classes to generate additional eDocument instances that will be processed for your business scenario.

When you register your own class, your eDocument instance should be a reference to CL_XYZ that you have inherited from CL_EDOCUMENT. Your factory class CL_FACTORY_XYZ needs to be inherited from CL_EDOC_FACTORY returning eDocument instances of CL_XYZ in method create_edoc_instances.
