This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Product Compliance component. You can use this BAdI to create company substances, raw materials, unpackaged and packaged products based on specification data.

The BAdI is called within the program Load Specification Data to Product Compliance Data (R_EHFND_MGR_SPECTOPC).

The BAdI definition is active in the standard system.

The BAdI definition contains the following methods:

  • Prepare reading specification data (PREPARE)
The method defines which detail data of specifications shall be determined.
  • Map specification data to product compliance data (MAP)
The method creates company substances, raw materials, unpackaged and packaged products based on determined specification data.

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

  • BADI_EHPSS_MGR_SPECTOPC_RAW
The implementation creates raw materials. The value RAW is added to the filter object type.
  • BADI_EHPSS_MGR_SPECTOPC_SUB
The implementation creates company substances. The value SUB is added to the filter object type.
  • BADI_EHPSS_MGR_SPECTOPC_UNP
The implementation creates unpackaged products. The value UNP is added to the filter object type.
  • BADI_EHPSS_MGR_SPECTOPC_PP
The implementation creates packaged products. The value PCK is added to the filter object type.

When you implement this BAdI, add new implementations to the Create Product Compliance Data Based on Specification Data BadI (BADI_EHPSS_MGR_SPECTOPC).

Create a filter combination for the new implementation. Add one of the following object types as filter value:

  • SUB,,Substance
  • RAW,,Raw Material
  • UNP,,Unpackaged Product
  • PCK,,Packaged Product

Activate the implementation and deactivate the default implementation.
