EHFND_REGULATION - Create Regulations

In this Customizing activity, you can create regulations. You can use regulations in the application in the following ways:
- To adapt the UI for a specific regulatory region
- To control the forms available to the data record
- To provide an informational context to the data record
You use regulations to support your business processes, especially when your organization operates in more than one country or region and must comply with the regulatory requirements of each country/region. You can also use regulations to represent your organization's internal policy in the system, for example, if you require specific fields on the UI or a specific internal report.
Note that you must specify these regulations further for use in the components of Environment, Health, and Safety. For more information, see the following Customizing activities:
- Specify Regulations under Incident Management
- Specify Regulations under Compliance and Risk Management
The key must be unique to the other regulations in this activity and to the regulatory lists and customer lists in Customizing activity Create Regulatory Lists and Customer Lists.
