In this Customizing activity, you can define regulatory list types.

  • If you want to define customer specific regulatory lists and use these lists in the compliance requirement, you also have to enhance the following entities:
  • Enhance the business object EHFND_COMPL_REQUIREMENT, by adding a sub-node for the new regulatory list to the node REGULATORY_LIST.

  • EHFND_UI_REQ_CONT_REGLIST_TAB component configuration that represents the regulatory list in the compliance requirement.

  • If you want to define customer specific regulatory lists and use these lists as data sources (input data) for calculations, you have to additionally enhance the functionality of the standard delivery.
For more information, see: Enhance Search Help of Regulatory List Types

To define new entries, choose the corresponding button and specify the following details:

  • Regulatory List Type
Specify a technical name of the regulatory list entry.
  • Component
Enter a component (for example, environment management, or health and safety) of Environment, Health, and Safety Management for which the regulatory list applies.
  • Chemical/Physical Property
Enter a chemical physical property for which the regulatory list applies. You can use the search help to find chemical physical properties in the system. The property that you enter characterizes the regulatory list and later on is populated in the application automatically and you cannot change it.
Note:
If you omit the chemical physical property at this point, the system will let you add it to the specified regulatory list in the application.
  • Regulatory List Tab ID
Specify the technical name of the regulatory list Tab ID as specified in the EHFND_UI_REQ_CONT_REGLIST_TAB component configuration. The standard system is delivered with the following tab id configurations and corresponding data tables:
  • EMISSION_FACTOR

  • STANDARD_VALUES

  • GWP

  • OEL

  • Object Name
Specify the technical node name of the regulatory list object the way it is specified in the REGULATORY_LIST node of the business object EHFND_COMPL_REQUIREMENT. The node controls the grouping and thus the data structure of the given regulatory list.
The standard system is delivered with the following nodes and corresponding data structures:
  • STANDARD_VALUES - Standard Values (Carbon Content, Low Heating Value, High Heating Value)

  • EFACTOR - Emission Factor

  • GWP - Global Warming Potential

  • OEL - Occupational Exposure Limit

  • GROUP_SUBST - Group Substance

  • Description (short and long)
Enter a free form text description (short and long text) of the regulatory list entry. The description is displayed on the application later on.
