In this Customizing activity, you can define the conversion and mapping of regulatory information that is imported from content providers into the Environment Management (consumer system).

Normally, the content provider systems may deliver regulatory relevant information, such as the country/region or location codes, that cannot be imported directly in the consumer system and requires additional conversion and mapping to the business object fields that are specific for the compliance requirement. Therefore, when you want to import regulations from content provider systems into Environment Management, you must specify the conversions and mappings in this Customizing activity first.

To specify conversion and mapping for the countries/regions and locations used by RegScan to the countries/regions and regions in the Environment Management system, you have to specify the following settings:

• Content Provider - A unique name used to identify the integrated content provider, for example: REGSCAN.

• Reg. Code – Country/region name or identifier as it is used in the regulatory information that is imported from RegScan, for example: USA.

• Country/Region - Country/region code or identifier as it is used in the compliance requirement details that are specified in Environment Management, for example: US.

• Region – Region (or state) code or identifier as it is used in the compliance requirement details that are specified in Environment Management, for example: OH.
