In this organizational activity, you can learn about how to enable the functionality for displaying change documents for deviation incidents. This functionality is invoked by a link in the You can also dropdown menu of the deviation incident and enables the user to find and display all changes related to a given deviation incident. Additionally, the functionality enables the user to filter out change documents by date or user.

  • To transport the changes across your system landscape, you must have a Customizing request on the Customizing client of your system.

The standard system is delivered with the functionality for displaying change documents for deviation incidents disabled on the corresponding user interface.

To enable the Display Change Document for Deviation Incidents on the Edit Incident application, perform the following steps:

  1. On the Customizing client of your system, start transaction LPD_CUST.
  2. Open the role EHHSS_INC, instance INCIDENT_OIF_RELATED for editing.
  3. On the Change Launchpad for the role, add a new application with the following details and advanced parameters:
    1. Link text: Display Change Documents for Deviation Incident
    2. Application Type: Object Based Navigation
    3. Business Object: BPR_FND_CD
    4. Operation: Display
    5. System Alias: SAP_ECC_EnvironmentHealthSafety
    6. Application Alias: DISPLAY_CH_DOC_IDV
    7. OBN Type: Object-Based Navigation
  4. Save your entries.
  5. If necessary, transport your newly created application across the systems. To do this, from the menu, choose Launchpad -> Transport and add your entries to the corresponding Customizing request.
