EHHSS_HSM_FSI_CUST - Configure Safety Instruction

With this Customizing activity, you define the available structures for safety instructions. Structures consist of a set of chapters together with the indication whether these chapters are to be editable, whether they are to carry an additional text field, and which symbol set they are to use.

Requirements

You have defined the symbols that you want to use for your safety instructions. For more information, see the Customizing for Environment, Health, and Safety under Health and Safety Management-> Risk Treatment -> Safety Instructions -> Define Symbol Sets.

Standard settings

1. Define a structure.
2. For the defined structure, define a set of chapters in the desired order.
3. For each chapter, define the following:

• If the chapter is to be editable, enable the Editable indicator.

• If there is to be an additional, editable text field, enable the Editable indicator.

This feature is usually used for noneditable chapters to enable the addition of more information. But it is also possible to activate this feature for editable chapters. In this case, the chapter displays two editable text fields.

• The symbol set to use

Leave the symbol set empty of if no symbols are to be available for a chapter.
